A&O Summer Activities
Summer is one of the best times of the year! You get to stay up later, sleep in longer and hang out with your friends more. We've got great things planned for the Summer at A&O, too - and you are not going to want to miss out! If you are interested in any of these events, talk to John, Alana or one of our interns to sign up. This summer is going to be unreal!
A&O Dallas Trip: June 28th - 30th
We'll be going out to the ballgame to watch the Texas Rangers on Sunday night. Then on Monday we will go to Six Flags and spend the day on some awesome rollercoasters. We will be staying at Westminster Presbyterian and coming home on Tuesday. You won't want to be stuck at home!
Boys Backpacking Trip: July 12th - 18th
It's just about time for our annual boys backpaking trip! We'll be going back to Sonlight Camp again this year. It is always an amazing adventure each year and this one won't be any different. You can't ask for more than being able to hang out with the guys, spend time with the Lord and enjoy the beautiful elements of the outdoors. This trip is one of our favorites!
5th Grade Lock-In: July 30th - 31st
While making the transition into middle school can be tough, we want to make our upcoming 6th graders feel as comfortable as possible when they switch over to A&O. This lock-in is going to be the perfect opportunity for them to get to know the A&O staff and leadership. We want to welcome them to A&O and make sure they know how much fun we are!
8th Grade Move-Up Party: August 6th - 7th
High school is such an exciting time, and we want to celebrate it with A&O's upcoming freshman class. This overnight event is going to be full of fun, and gives us a chance to encourage these students as they grow up. There definitely won't be any sleep going on as we make a fun and lasting memory for our future freshmen.
Girls Backpacking Trip: August 2nd - 8th
This year, the girls will not be left out! We are taking a girls backpacking trip up to Pagosa Springs. You'll get to go hiking, sit around the campfire, and sleep in a tent - this is the real deal! There's nothing like spending time with your girlfriends while you are in the middle of God's creation. Sign up today!
