Children's Bell Choirs
The primary purpose of children's bell choirs is to help them become familiar with instruments and teach them the fundamentals of music. Gradually, they will begin to perform pieces that they have learned. To sign up or for more information, please contact Norman at the church office.
Tower Chimes
(Grades K, 1 & 2)
Meet on Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. in room 305A. This group learns the rudiments of music by playing music related games and ringing Choir chimes. Because performing on an instrument can be especially stressful, this very young group does not usually appear in worship.
Rhythm Kidz (Formerly Joy Ringers)
(Grades 3, 4, 5)
Meet on Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. in room 304A. They continue in their music learning and begin ringing handbells. They prepare easy bell pieces which are offered in worship.
Celebration Ringers
(Grades 6 - 12)
Meet on Monday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in room 304A. They prepare bell pieces of medium difficulty which will be offered in worship. They also go out for snacks on the Monday after they ring in worship and usually take a summer trip with the Celebration Singers.
