Kim Talley is the Interim Assistant Pastor of Youth & Young Families and Director of Singles Ministry. He enjoys working with singles ranging in age from 18 to 80! Kim has been on staff for since 2011 and was a lay leader and elder before that. He is married to Lisa and has three children. He is enjoying his first granddaughter, Willow! Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas and has received a Master of Arts from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is an ordained in the ECO denomination.

Kim served as Area and Regional Director for Young Life from 1978 until 1994. He has been ordained by The Evangelical Church Alliance.

Kim and Lisa have many, many animals! He loves the wonderful balance of grace and Biblical truth lived out authentically at First Pres. He likes military history, and his favorite authors are C.S. Lewis and Tim Keller. His favorite book is Mark Batterson's "In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day" and his favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and discipline. His claim to fame around First Pres is that he actually went on one date with Pastor Murray Gossett's wife, Jeri, before Murray and Jeri met!!
