US and WORLD MISSIONS Home / / Ministries Missions First Presbyterian Church believes strongly in the call of the church to reach out into the world by spreading the gospel and showing the love of Jesus Christ. To extend our reach, we support a variety of missionaries around the country and around the globe with our prayers and financial resources. OTHER INTERESTS Studies and Groups Worship Grow Connect Serve How to Get Involved Who We Support Meet this month's Featured missionaries Teri & Andrew Adair, Mission Mobilizers with Antioch Partners in Houston Hi First Pres Family! Teri and I are so thankful for our partnership in ministry with you all over these years. God has blessed and encouraged us through you in so many ways, starting when our family lived and served in Central Asia from 1997-2006, and then when we returned to the US and launched what has become The Antioch Partners (TAP) in 2007. Given my extended family’s roots in West Texas including there in Amarillo (my Aunt Peggy Bruckner is a long-time Amarilloan, and my cousin Chris Bruckner and his family are FPC members), having FPC as a partner church means a great deal! With the help of partners like you, TAP has continued to grow and there are now 74 missionaries (we call them Partners) serving around the world through TAP. Though COVID has changed life for all of us and many Partners have had to adjust their ministries, God continues to work in and through them in amazing ways … people are coming to know Christ, lives are being transformed, leaders are being trained, churches are being strengthened and empowered, and much more. Thank you for your partnership which is helping make all this possible! Gratefully in Christ, Andrew & Teri Adair Craig Brown and family Church Planters – Nashville, Tennessee
