Adult Sunday School

B-12 Class - Carol Allen (Room 204)
We’ll study Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Peter Scazzero. Its premise focuses on giving our lives, daily, to recognizing our dependence on God. That’s what AA originally imprinted on my mind: the importance of daily surrender.
Berean Class – Shannon Brooks, Duane Harp, Alan Keister, Karen Stout, David Terry (Room 304)
Our class is studying 1Peter. So relevant today! Peter wrote this book to encourage Christians facing persecution in Asia Minor, emphasizing themes of hope, suffering, and living a righteous life in a hostile world. It focuses on how believers can maintain their faith and live God-honoring lives amidst trials and temptations, reminding them of their identity as God’s chosen people and their future hope in Christ.
Growing – Marcos Henry, Beth & Daniel Brannon, Shelley & Steve Chaloupka, Lesley & Albert Lusby (Room 209)
We will study Jesus in the Old Testament. Growing Sunday community focuses on young couples and families who want to learn more about the Bible and grow in community.
Kaleidoscope - Mary & David Mullin, Jay O’Brien (Parlor)
We are finishing our study of Luke.
Men’s Bible Study - Darrell Schmidt, Danny Castleman, Skip Forsyth (Room 203)
We will be studying the Book of James and learning how to put our faith into practice.
Practicing The Way (College Age/Young Adult) - Orlando and Dena Lopez (Westminster/Gap Room)
The Apostles’ Creed is more than a familiar church recitation - it’s a timeless declaration of faith. The Apostles’ Creed: A Guide to the Ancient Statement of Faith walks through its three parts, rooted in the Trinity, and helps us connect this historic confession to how we live out our faith today.
Sonflower’s Class - Caryl Smith (Room 207)
We will continue to study I and II Kings with videos by Lisa TerKeurst.
UB40+ - Phil Curtis, Bob Juba, Orlando Lopez, Lezly Welch, Murray Gossett, and Howard Griffin (Room 205)
Come join us for an interactive discussion of Philippians, Paul’s most encouraging letter.
The Upper Room – Andrew Amstutz, Brian Oliver, Brady Clark (Room 206)
We are going to be continuing the study we just started on the Holy Spirit. We will be studying the person, role, and work of the Holy Spirit. We will also be learning how to listen to and learn to follow the leading of the Spirit in our lives.
Cultivate - Lindsey Palmer, Emily Wood (Room 202)
We will take a deep dive in the study of Genesis. Exploring deceivers, and exiles rulers.
