NUFF'S ACTIVITIES FOR Spring 2020

The NUFFs (None Under Fifty-Five) have interesting, entertaining, and educational programs and outings planned for the coming year.

Well, Spring seems to have come and gone, January through March we had some fun activities during our monthly general meetings.

And then the world stopped.  We all were hit with a global pandemic the likes we never thought possible.  Everything was shut down, we are social distancing, sheltering at home, and trying to live the best way we know how.

We will get through this however through the grace of God, we will pray for ourselves and everyone we know and all the front line doctors and nurses trying to fight this unseen evil. We miss our friends at our monthly gathering but we call each other and support each other and above all, pray for one another.

Nuffs will return, we don't know when but hopefully soon.  Look here for future postings.  In the meantime, try to enjoy this time of being still.  Meditate in the Lord's book, do a zoom bible study.  Nuffs will return my friends.

If you would like to come to any of these outings, please contact Laura (350-5204) or Bill (359-4885).

NUFF'S ELECT OFFICERS FOR 2020

Officers for 2020 were installed at the NUFFs January meeting. They are: (left to right); Scott Gilmour, president, Bill Quarles, vice-president, Marty Smith, secretary, and Cal Smith, treasurer

Our Senior Adults Group, NUFFs (None Under Fifty-Five)

This is not a group of old codgers! We are full of life and energy! We have our own Steering Committee that plans monthly meetings and social activities. The group frequently takes trips together and visits many different places of interest throughout the Texas Panhandle.

NUFFs meet at 10:30 a.m. (come at 10:15 a.m. for coffee & fellowship) on the second Thursday of every month in the First Pres Parlor. Each month, in addition to hymns and a devotional, the program is always entertaining and informative. Programs are followed by a catered lunch from Pancake Station for $7.00 per person. If you would like to eat lunch, please make reservations by calling 350-5204. We also take trips together and visit many different places of interest throughout the Texas Panhandle.  Guests are always welcome, so please join us!
