We invite you to join our new small group called

Talk. Pray. Know.

This group, led by Denise Carter, will meet Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at "Murray's House", 3614 SW 6th Street (across 6th from Aldaco's Tacos, parking by Wildside Smoke Shop).  Come prepared to share with each other what is hurting, read a Psalm of comfort, and pray together.  If you have experienced death of a child or family member, isolation, caring for elderly parents or spouse, or other types of challenge or loss, Talk. Pray. Know. will be a place to listen, offer prayer (not advice), a place where everyone gets a turn, and a place to be known. Please let us know you're coming by calling or texting Emily at 418.0404 or Denise at 279-0462. For a preview from Denise, click here.

Bible Studies & Resources for Women from Emily Wood

I know this is not as good as sitting together around a table looking at each other’s beautiful smiling faces; however, God has given us technology and podcasts and apps, and I’m pretty sure they are “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14)!  Please look over the list below of online opportunities and study resources, and let me know what you think!

-- A great Bible study resource from Jennie Allen is the IF:Gathering app you can download to your phone for free.  Access the current daily Bible study here.

-- Proverbs 31 Ministries, run by Lysa Terkeurst (click here), includes all kinds of resources, including the First Five Daily Bible Study app (click here).  Both are highly recommended by Shauneen Hatfield and other women in our church.

-- The Bible Recap (click here) is recommended by Shelley Chaloupka & Vicki Keister. Vicki says "I have for two years now read the Bible through and listened to the podcast.  I think it would be amazing for others to know about it." You can find The Bible Recap plan on the YouVersion Bible app many of us already have on our phones (click here). You can also subscribe to The Bible Recap podcast.  This is a great way to get into the Word of God!

-- Study Gateway (click here) is recommended by Laurie Pinkston.  It includes access to more than 2,500 video Bible studies from all our favorite teachers. You can get a free trial on this site to check it out.  Please let me know if you are interested in this, and we can purchase a church account to share with all of you!  Several of the studies have been mentioned in our women’s testimony videos:

-- ChurchSource (click here) is another great resource.

-- Lifeway Women’s Online Bible Studies (click here). There are all kinds of resources here, including studies from Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer and more.
